Just like our kids go through developmental stages, moms do too.
The way we parent and the needs of our kids change as they get older, and when we base our “mom output” on the actual requirements of our children…
We learn to show up for them as much as they need vs. as much as we think we should.
I've taken the stages of motherhood and aligned them with my coaching to help you reclaim your time and your life — all while feeling REALLY good about how you parent.
Start by identifying which stage you’re currently in and then get familiar with the other stages.
When my youngest turned 14, I had an epiphany.
❶
What stage are you in?
FULL-TIME MOM: when your kids are little and need your love and attention. Generally from newborn to tween or middle school age. You only have a little extra time, but finding ways to free up time and focusing on one or two personal habits will help you survive.
PART-TIME MOM: as your kid reaches adolescence, they'll naturally pull away as they try to gain independence. This is a natural developmental phase and your signal to take back some of your time. Look for cues from your kids — they may need you less as early as 9 or 10.
With this extra time, you can start exploring your interests and do more for yourself — this is where you begin to thrive.
ON-CALL MOM: your kids are roughly 18-25 young adults and are grown and off starting their lives.
Those notoriously difficult empty nest years are staring you in the face, so the earlier you think about your next stage of life, the better prepared you will be, and by the time your teen exits the house, you'll be ready to start the next phase of your life.
This is the stage where you finally have time and are ready to move on with your personal wants, dreams, and desires. You will continue to thrive.
And you can still have a beautiful connection with your children! But as the fully grown adults, they are.
Before you move on, it’s worth pointing out that not every mom will fully transition into the on-call mom stage. Life is a unique journey for each of us, and for a multitude of reasons, from varying mental, physical, and emotional situations, some kids might not move out of the nest.
Even if you find yourself in a different place on this complex motherhood journey, you may find something the fits your needs—poke around and email me if you have questions.

FAQs
Who is this for?
While I focus on helping moms with tweens and teens, women at any stage of motherhood can benefit from many if not all of my courses & coaching.
Is it too late (or too soon)?
It's never too late or too soon to start thinking about your future. The more time you give yourself to think and plan, the more years you'll have spent pursuing fulfillment.
A general rule of thumb: start planning for the next phase of your life when your youngest enters middle school. But if your kids are older, you'll always benefit from having a roadmap.
What if I realize later that the class I signed up for isn’t the right one?
